We’re excited to announce 2024 Wings Over Port A: Bubbles Up Forever! event. We have some new and exciting facets planned for the weekend and some terrific music to enjoy. New this year - on Saturday night, the "Gala" will be held at the Sandcastle Conference Center, since the Port Aransas Civic Center will be under renovation. The Sandcastle Condominiums will be the most central place to stay, as the Friday night Shrimp Boil will be held just a few steps down the beach. There is a variety of sizes of newly refurbished condos and the pool is one of the nicest in the area. If you'd like to make reservations at the Sandcastle Condominiums, please call 361-749-6201 and let them know you are with the Parrot Heads to start a reservation. They are located at 800 Sandcastle Dr. Port Aransas TX 78373. The condos at Sandcastle are not offering discounts or special rates, but they are the most convenient accommodations for the weekend, by far.

Friday: 6pm Shrimp Boil, Music & Bonfire -  Enjoy a Low Country Shrimp Boil and bonfire on the beach with live music by popular Brooke Graham. Bring your own beverages and your own chairs at a location to be announced before the event. Can't eat seafood? Be sure to mark your registration form for an alternative meal for Friday evening. We'll stay after 9pm with more fuel for the fire for party owls.

Saturday: 11:30am - 3:00pm - Port A Poker Run - Pre-register for the Poker Run, which will be at some of our favorite watering holes in Port Aransas to draw your best poker hand. There will be a couple of stops where you may purchase food. Locations, map and rules will be in your registration packet.

 

Saturday: 6:00pm - 10:00pm - "GALA" - The attire is beach casual, so head to the Sandcastle Conference Center for a PARTY! Doors open at 6, There will be dinner served at 6:30 and the terrific Lorence Band will have everyone up and dancing. This is a BYOB event and there will be a Silent Auction, Raffle, 50/501, Cork Pull and tickets to win the Booze Wagon!
